As I do my introspection on processing some things that have surfaced, I wonder what my fellow Queens are growing through as well right now. It seems a shift is certainly happening. It’s necessary for our growth. I don’t know why people believe they can grow without any discomfort. When it comes to certain friendships or relationships, on the surface, it appears the person is genuine or is into you or that they care. However, it’s an act. Their underlying intention is that they want to be perceived that way. They can’t benefit from you if they know you’re on to them. They can’t use you or take from you if you knew their real intentions. And they wouldn’t get people to buy into their sob story or whatever dramatics they ensue to get people on their side if people knew their true intentions. Just like how some males do. They say all the right things to make you believe they’re into you so they can get what they want. Once they get what they want, their true colors come out or they simply leave, ghost you. This can include family members too. Don’t be fooled. Everyone does not have your best interest at heart. People can be manipulative, conniving and deceitful. Sometimes, it’s subtle; you have to be really conscious and self-aware to pick up on it. But it’s there nonetheless. These same people may have the audacity to try and guilt you. Go figure!
For my fellow Queen entrepreneurs, you know all too well what I’m talking about. People that only show up when you have a win. They want to ride your coattail. They want to have access to you so they do just enough to make you think they’re genuine. Fake! People will feel entitled to your success when they’ve had nothing to do with it including family members. It’s crazy. But real. I told someone recently that it’s crazy how you hear successful people talk about all of the things they’ve endured to get where they are such as lack of support, losing friends, being misunderstood, running out of money, depression, doubting yourself, etc. But when it happens to you, you understand how real and true it is. Everything they said was true regarding the road to success. This is why most people don’t do it. If it were that easy, everyone would be successful. Transformation is a process. It certainly isn’t for the weak. I believe all of us have it in us though. We’re royalty…Duh!
Queens, you are too damn regal for low vibrational bullshit. You deserve the best. I suggest you pray for better discernment. Listen to your intuition. Ladies, we are gifted with intuition. I believe the truth will manifest itself. I am seeking the truth. Like I mentioned on the podcast and in a previous article, what you see depends mainly on what you’re looking for. Therefore, if you are looking for the truth, you will find it. God, the universe, the divine…whatever you call your source, it will reveal to you the answers to your prayers or the truth that you’re seeking. Pay attention. We all have different beliefs however I would like to offer some examples of how I believe God can answer a prayer. It doesn’t have to be big for it to be significant. In other words, a meteor shouldn’t have to fall from the sky for you to take it as a sign. I believe God speaks to us, just not in ways that we may have been taught to believe. Here are some examples:
· You hear something on the radio. A song comes on the radio whose lyrics speak directly to you.
· You strike up a conversation with a random person and you end up talking about something you prayed about or something similar.
· You overhear a conversation someone is having and that conversation is exactly what you’re going through or something similar relative to what you prayed for.
· You hear a small voice within you which gives you the answer.
· You watch a video or clip of something that speaks to you.
· You notice certain people have fallen by the wayside naturally; no communication was necessary, they naturally fell off.
· Through doing meditations or yoga.
The universe is on our side. There is a book by Gabby Bernstein titled “The Universe is on Your Side.” I read it a year or two ago. Everything depends on your level of self-awareness. And your willingness to be honest with yourself about certain things or people in your life. It all starts with YOU. It all starts with us. Personal growth and personal development is ongoing. As we all go to higher heights, there are new things we may have to learn or grow through at each new level. Don’t let change scare you. We should be growing. You’re either growing or dying. Don’t feel bad for people or environments that you have outgrown. It’s nothing personal. Everything or everyone isn’t meant to be around for every season. That’s the beauty of evolution. Always making room for bigger and better. Out with the old, in with the new. Queens, you deserve it. You deserve the best that life has to offer. Life is too short to have shitty relationships. Love yourself enough to do the inner work to heal yourself. Love yourself enough to be honest about changes you need to implement in your life. Love yourself enough to walk away from anyone or anything that isn’t serving you anymore. Lean on your divine source for guidance on how to handle everything. But put yourself FIRST. You are worthy. You are deserving. Don’t ever forget that.
